How long have you been strength training?

I’ve been strength training in general since 2018, but powerlifting specifically from late 2019. I initially started lifting to gain weight as I was always quite small, and found that I really enjoyed the sport. 

Do you compete in Powerlifting?

I like to try and compete at least twice a year. Competing is a great way to test yourself in powerlifting, and despite people thinking you have to be at a certain strength level before doing a competition, anyone can do one at any time. Competing also helps with your normal day to day training as you can more accurately build a program around yourself individually. 

What is your favourite lift?

Deadlift. I don’t like to talk about squat and bench.
